Music plays, one young girl bends over a door lying on a table, paint brush in hand.
Glancing at her sketches she begins to recreate a starry night theme.
Her best friend is singing along with the music, watching her little brother light a fire on the cement.
Once that panel of the door is painted the girl begins to prep her pie tin with the next colors needed.
Gently swishing her hips and singing along she starts the next panel.
Baby brother has a metal grate set up over his small fire; he’s heating up lunch meal…
Putting the tin pan aside, they begin dancing to a favorite song, the sun is sinking low, and flies are buzzing around
After painting each panel and doing a few designs on the outside, the door is finished.
A relaxing, calm evening, painting a door and watching Jake almost light the porch on fire. Pretty normal actually…
Mini pizzas and music, paint and fire. Such an odd combination, but a good way to start off the week. Top that off with some glee and the young girl couldn’t be happier.
Yes there are several weeks of school left, but now its bearable.
