I am hoping that my loved ones will help fill the gap,
But it only pacifies the hunger for a time.
But this desire, this always thirsty, almost guilt wins out.
I go crawling back to you, ready to give up my pride and try again
Even though I know I will become prideful again, rude, unlovable and cocky again!
…but for now I want to try, need to try to beat my self, beat my struggles and
win with Christ as my driver.
I am just the co-pilot
wanting more attention,
not deserving it
but getting it anyways.
